1 botte de coriandre long, émincé
¼ tasse (4 càs) de coriandre vietnamienne, émincée
2 feuilles de citronnier, émincées
Sel

I will once again speak of our shopping escapades with Brussels’ bloggers! A fortnight ago, I went with Fanny and Marion, strolling in the Avenue George Henri, where several ethnic store has been opened (Indian, Turkish and Far-Eastern). In the Far-Eastern store, I saw culantro. I was hunting for this herb, since I’d read quite a bit about this herb that tasted like normal coriander! I picked up a packet!

Then last week, Syll and I went again to this store and Syll pushed a packet towards me and asked me if I knew what it was. Since I did not, we asked the owner, who told us that it’s a very nice herb and asked us to taste a leaf! It reminded me of betel leaves with a spicy bite as an aftertaste. Syll bought the packet and I swiped half of his stash! This was Peow or Praew leaves.

I made a Viet-Thai inspired curry with these herbs and I loved the results!
